ATF'ing a GSL-SE
The instructions from the Mazspeed fact sectoin says:
1) Disable the ignition primary circuit by disconnecting the igniters or the negative lead on each ignition coil.
How do i do this?
They also say to "bump" the starter to get the rotors turned around. I assume they just mean tap the key forward (w/ no intention to start the car), right?
Also, i've heard that the ATF treatment should be used with something other than ATF.
Any comments on that???
Thanks guys! Rotate on!

something other than atf would be Marvel Mystery Oil aka MMO available at most auto aprts places even walmart had it last time i checked.
instead of usin the starter you can just leave it gear and roll it back and forward a little to slosh it around a bit.
im used to pushin rx-7's hehe. my first car had a few alternator probs here and there til i finally fixed it, and the brown one i got had to be hand pushed up a hill into the garage.
let us now how it turns out

You don't need to "bump" the starter. Just get a 19 mm socket on the alternator pulled and turn it till your main pulley goes through one revolution... then add more atf and repeat till you get all 3 rotors.
I heard spraying carb spray in the spark plugs liberally and then turn it a rotation and spray some more. This is turning it by hand and spraying. Then let it sit for a few days and then start it and drive it hard after its warmed up ofcourse to send all the carbon you just loosened out.
The reason I believe this is best is that: has anyone ever sprayed their rotors when the engine is apart? I have and then used a tooth brush on them and the carbon comes right off! I'm thinking its proably more effective then ATF is.
