Atf add to 80w tranny oil

I read in some post about adding a quart of atf to the 5 speed and it would shift better.
It worked and its great. Is this a temp thing that one would do and then drain an refill or does anyone just choose to drive it mixed like that? all comments welcome. SC

There are mixed opinions. I run a mix all the time in my turbo FB and haven't had any issues.

You can leave it in there full time, or replace it with standard lube once the ATF has done it's work...
