ARRgh...working on the '85

So I was working on the 85, taking stuff off the engine, prepping it for a new motor. Everything's original, so it's a touch rusty. I am taking off part of the emissions, trying to start to get the bolt off, and it just snaps and my hand smashes against the air pump. Sorry to vent but I needed to. I love rusty bolts. Oh and I'm trying to get the rat's nest off, and the bolt down below it holding it down, the head decides to strip. Im gonna go crazy on the damn thing.

Try using some PB Blaster on all those rusty bolt before you try to remove them. Do it way in advance if you can, this should help you get them out a lot easier and hopefuly not break the bolts in the process.

mine is 50% gutted. i havent gotten to the mechanical stuff yet but all interior and everthing that bolts to the body itself is off.

sometimes i see the way it is and i cant even imagen how much work i've still to do.
i guess the best thing i can do is keep working and see what i end up with.
