Anyone weight lift and drive a 7 without power steering

When I was leaving school today after a long workout there was cars parked close in front and behind my car. So I had to do the Austin Powers thing and keep going back and forth. Wow is it ever hard to do this after a work out when you don't have power steering and really sticky Falken tires. I almost couldn't get out!

Anyway lame story but just wondering if this has happened to anyone.

I ripped out the power steering and feel every little bump and ripple in the road, especially with wide, low profile tyres.

what a coincidence

not only is my FB sans-power steering, but it still retains the same ratio as the equipped ones (I yanked it along with the AC. PS leaked, AC didn't work).

I nearly dislocated my shoulder late one night, pulling into a tight parking spot using only one arm. PS is awesome; I think the car was sooo much more flickable before I removed it.

I bought a replacement hose from VB to stop the leak; but it was the pressure hose and not the one I needed. Don't know where to find the other one...

Here in The Netherlands we have to park like that all the time. It's best if you park rearwards and don't counter-steer so your wheels are pointing towards the road. If you want to leave you only need to steer a little bit and you're off.

no and yes....

Manual steering is the best!!! I did climb a mountain once and had to drive my car...The only other thing i could think of without power steering is my dad's 1973 Ford F150. 3 on the tree with manual steering. My dad's a pretty big guy and he would have trouble going through an intersection!

downshifting + an air-cannon actuated cable hook to grasp lamp posts when cornering.

Brakes. Pffft.

Weight-lift: No. I have other means of building muscle.
Power Steering: My car doesn't have it and it never will. My first car had power steering and I hated it, especially when traveling over 50mph. It felt as if one wrong movement of the wheel would make the car wipe out (for all you guys who criticize my posts - there weren't ANY problems with the suspension, so BAH!)

Whoo-yea, Nothing quite like driving big ugly rusty old metal vehicle with the starter still located on the floor in the baking hot sun, no seatbelts, and a nice pole attached to the steering wheel to impale you if you **** up...

I weight lift in an attempt to keep some of the muscle I gained in the military.

A car as light as the ReX without power steering is no problem whatsoever.
