My local ******* scrap yard recently crushed all the rx7's to make room for ******* trailblazer's and malibu's. They HAD 4 FC's, 5 S2/S3 FB's and a pristine SA with non-cracked tail lights and a curb free set of waffle wheels. I regularly bought parts off these cars, so they were making money off them, but still decided to open up a small amount of space by crushing them...i was even getting ready to start stripping the LSD rearends, and all the motors and trannies

Just visited my local yard, and they have an SA, and 2 S3 FBs. I asked for a price on an axle, and was told $350, for an axle that's been sitting in pools of water and mud for years and already has all the calipers and brackets stripped off ... Good ****** luck

^^Wow, sounds kinda like the yard I go to!!
Here are 2 of the 3 that I've pulled parts from, with the parts that I took home with me. Had pretty good days with the two of em.
First car I found - slave cylinder was the only thing I needed. Beautiful car, all motor and interior there. No rims though, and it was a GS trim.
Second is this white one.
Middle one I got parts from

Parts I took from that one

Third is this last one.

Parts taken from the brown one

I've got a shed full of parts now, some of which will be sold when I run low on funds or get sick of moving them around. I have pulled all the possible parts off of these cars that I needed (and more).
They are rare around my area, and I need to take advantage of the parts when they come around.

There's basically none in BC. One auto wreckers has 2 Basically useless S4's and one S3 but they're basically overgrown with plants and the rain has completely fucked them, interior wise. I was told that paying $25 for the wiper switch in unknown condition from the S4 was a 'steal' and the guy used to sell them commonly for $150 so it's ridiculous. Ended up being a 1-speed.. I've taken all I could off them. I wouldn't be surprised if they were crushed soon
thats the unfortunate state of all 1st and 2nd gen scrap yard cars. theyre either too fucked to even be useful, or yard peeps are wanting way too much. pretty much all the rx's in my local area have had the carbs/manifolds yanked prior, and the hood left open, so every engine is full of water and seized....all the windows and sunroofs have been left wide open, so the interior is junk...and the cars are immediately stripped of their wheels, so they spend months/years sitting belly first in pools of mud and water, therfore the chassis and driveline are rusted to ****....is so sad
In my local junk yard (bradenton, fl) theres a near mint 84 rx7 gs, I pulled the motor out, odometer said 84k on it, they charged me 200.00 for the motor I installed it in my car, she fired right up first turn of the key
There was a 79 at liberty u pull it. I stripped that sucker! I took everything from engine to glass
