anyone put racing seats in a first gen.

I want to buy a set of racing seats for my first gen.

I plan on getting a autopower roll bar and a harness setup.

anyone know of what slider mechanism I need to make the seats work properly and be secure??

Most seat companies will offer the sliders. If you are interested in Corbeau's, let me know via email, and I can get you a quote that'd probably be a solid 10++% less than retail.

I used the Corbeau mount with Momo seat and rails. I have a Kirk 6pt. and Sabelt 5 ways - everything fits fine.

im VERY interested in the a4, actually, thats my next mod. if you could get me a good quote, i would appreciate it greatly. i was going to get it from a local race shop for $280, then $60 for the sliders, but they closed down.

FWIW those are very nice seats...a friend has a set in his C5 Vette, and I liked them a lot. I prefer the non-adjustable Forza's, but it'd be a tough decision to go between A4's or CR2's if I needed adjustability!

i sat in the a4, the fronza (sp?) and a sparco something or another ($700 a peice) and the a4 was by far the most comfortable. atleast to me, most of my friend's didnt agree. this will also be going in with a 4-point harness and momo wheel
