They were custom jobs. Pacific Avatar was/is a company where you drive your vehicle in, they get creative with the SawzAll, and you drive out in a vert. Whatever you want... Pickup Truck? Done... Bulldozer? Done... School Bus? Done...

So theoretically, 1st gen Verts could be any year, any trim level, and unknown in number made...

Dig it...

The 'Vert is nice, but I want the TARGA:drool:

Rx7carl 01-28-03 11:00 AM

:withstupi that targa is dead sexy!

SilverRocket 01-28-03 11:07 AM

A little fruity for my liking.

smnc 01-28-03 11:26 AM

Really Andy? I'm suprised...
The 'Vert is nice but kinda kills the orignal lines of the car.

I love the Targa because it keeps the lines, but still gives an open roof...:D

SilverRocket 01-28-03 11:29 AM

Haha...

See though, I'm hardcore, I don't even like FB's with sunroofs lol...

RH-7 01-28-03 11:33 AM

Time to break out the saw! That targa looks sweet! The foot of snow on the ground outside is kind of holding me back though...

I'm hardcore, but I also like luxury...
Which is why Sarah and I have two. 1 hardcore 85 S model, with NO options...
and my 85 -SE with everything (except AC)...
:D

How's it going man?

SilverRocket 01-28-03 11:39 AM

Excellent, but dreaming of the springtime lol; snowboarding is only so much fun.... can't quite match the 7.

You?

RXMacSeven 01-28-03 11:51 AM

I don't see any lines lost in the pic of the red 81 on the link posted above by Pele. That's one good looking rag.
May have to make one when time allows.

The whole roof/hatch line is gone... Well at least drastically altered. It's a great looking 'Vert, but I like my hatch line so...:D
Targa for me
