Anyone Ever Tried These Lips?

I'm sort of looking for a front lip down the road and ran across these:

79 85 Mazda RX7 M 1 Duraflex Front Lip Body Kit | eBay

It doesn't seem too bad without the flashy colors/mesh, it would be on my race car anyway and is under $300.

Has anyone ever used one? Curious if anyone has if they have photos or if fitment required a lot of messing with.

I will be investing in one, in the next year, the whole kit. It looks almost stock to me which is why I like it.

They don't come painted or anything, and have to be sanded down and faced but anythings better then my torn up bumpers right now.

Its a copy of the older BD one. I have had the BD one for 8years or so and it fits nicely and works quite well.

I was also looking at this body kit. I'm between the m1 and the gp 1. Before any expensive aero I'm focusing on boosting the 12A. Performance first, then looks. I do have something cooking up for the meantime though. Check back with me in a few months.

They're Miata headlights. I read a thread a while back about how they basically drop right into our cars.

You got me all excited! And then, looking at the way this spoiler mounts to the front bumber on the 82 to 85, I don't think it will mount to a 79 or 80. Our front bumper has big rubber end caps and signal lights are different. If someone has a shot of this on a 79-80, I'd appreciate seeing it.

There are several companies that sell the DuraFlex one, most on ebay. Searching the internet is the best bet.

Kind of looks like one of Mariah's old Mode 4 dams when the lip gets slapped on. I think we have 3 more if anybody wants one.

If you were selling the mode 4 for the same price I would buy one!

I just bought one for $165 picked up at the Extreme Dynamics(??) warehouse in Fullerton, CA. It looks good. I just need to figure how to attach it to the racecar. Anyone done one and want to give me some tips? Should not be too hard, but easier if someone can get me started.

I wish I lived in CA, I would have done the same. As far as attaching I think most people rivet it to the stock piece. maybe you could use some aluminum angle to secure it better?
