Anyone done the spark plug in the exhuast?

Anyone done the spark plug in the exhuast like the old hotrod guys do at the shows, weld the plug in and put a ground on it with a switch? Im scared ill fawk my rex up, ive never done it to a rotary befor. Anyone ever done this with theres?

Yea, all you gots to do is run it a little rich, step on the gas let off stomp it let off....I've also heard of using the choke, but I don't have one.
