ANybody want this rear wing?

I just happened to look over behind a garage the other day as I was driving by, and I saw this wrecked FB with this wing:

-it is a soft spoiler (can be squeezed). If anybody is interested, I will see what they want for it (if anything), and ship it at cost. I hate to see stuff like this go to waste.

peace
Bryan.

Well personal taste is all personal taste. I don't want to put it on my Rex, but I like the no rear spoiler look. Now, if I knew this would help high speed stability, I might consider it even though it looks dated. It deffinitely doesn't look as good as the newer wrap around whaletails, but that is why I posted this- maybe somebody wants it before it gets crushed. and it looks nothing like the metal biplane wings people put on Civics.

and no offense taken.

Oh, and sorry about the blurred picture. I was on private property after the garage was closed, and I kept getting dirty looks from the neigbors. I am a big target.

Well, I only looked at the driver's side. The front wheel was a standard cross rex mag wheel, and the one you see is a steel wheel with a white wall tire..

I think the wing has potential. Can you see how much they want for it and factor in your time and shipping to 66049?

Thanks

Joe

I'll bite, 22306...

Looks like there may be a bit more useful stuff on that car... Appears to be a 1984 or 1985... (Never can tell those apart without looking at the stickers under the hood or the VIN...)

See what else you can find on that car.

????????????????????????????????????

Ok, I just went by there, since it is less than I mile from my main house. Dagnabbit!! Digital camera batteries die young.
Ok tell me what you want photos of.
I looked over car, and here is what I saw:
Has been hit on drivers front corner. Not bad, but pushed rad almost back into engine.
CAR= 144k mile 5 speed GS(84-85) black with grey interior and three rex cross mags and one black steel= two good mags with rough paint(niks) and one has curb rash. Tires shot but hold air.

Rad looked good, but had bondo on 2 inches of top part???

engine, trans. carb , rats nest stock and complete, but coils moved for some reason, and a/c compressor showed rust on belt pulley with no belt- probably bad. I might grab air pump since mine is making noises.

exterior- no skin good except metal sunroof and rear bumper- but both have bad paint but no rust. Sunroof has no headliner.
Rear hatch good and passenger rear triangle window good. Hatch struts hard to pull up, but hold hatch in place. Plastic piece between tails good, but I might grab this. Mirrors excellent. hmm, I might grab th.. oh well. Maybe not if somebody needs them. GS badge good.

interior- both grey buckets looked very good, with one small cig burn on driver's seat. dash good with no cracks. Console gone, stereo and surround gone. Instument bezel good. Storage bins cut-up for speakers. rear destructively removed to pull speakers. Door panels rough (good cloth, but bad viny and trim).. The only thing removed that seems essential is the steering wheel surround and switches.

whew. hope that helps.

Is the interior a light grey, or a charcoalish color? I wanna replace my maroon dash with black or dark grey.

What do they want for it, and are they open Saturdays? I might make a day trip out of it, if it's worth it.

The thumb thing: He's just double-jointed. Both my middle and base thumb knuckle bend that way, as do my base finger joints. When my sargeant used me as a demo to teach judo finger-locks, he had to give up in frustration.

Heh, I just found out yesterday that I live 30 mins from Victoria British and work about 10 mins from there.

Gonna stop by the counter today and get a magazine and maybe some struts.

I'm still very interested in the spoiler though.
