Anybody have a good picture of GSL-SE fuel tank baffling?
Hello:
I just did a renew on the fuel tank on my GSL-SE. Now that the tank is already bolted under the car I am curious about what the baffling looks like. I can't believe I didn't look while it was right in front of me.... I did take a quick peek at it, saw its a cup shaped piece about 8" tall and the fuel lines sit right in it.
I'm just curious exactly what that thing looks like. Does it have holes in it to let fuel in when the fuel level is below the height of the baffle? Or does it depend on cornering the car to slosh and keep it full?
Any insight would be appreciated... even an illustration would be cool.

I have pics in the archives, should be the top thread. All the S3, and probably earlier tanks, have the same baffling. What makes the SE tank different is the sump cup for the FI, and the pick unit is different, i.e. larger supply and return lines.
sweet. yeah, I had seen that link in the archives with those pictures based on a previous thread I posted about these tanks. Thanx again.
How is the feed inside the sump cup maintained if the amount of fuel in the tank is lower than the height of the cup? Just sloshing?
