Anybody advise me on removing drivers side vent

I am looking to remove the vent for a fellow forum member who needs one, anybody done this, what's the best way without breaking the vent.

Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about just the front? The part with the louvers for directing the airflow? They just snap in on my '85 GS. I had the lower dash covers off when I took mine out, but don't know if that's a requirement.

Now that I think about it, there may have been a screw or two in the bottom, so it would be best to take the lower dash covers off. Either way, it was quite easy.

The lower panels were off, the parts car is located in another garage, I went over pressed up and out, and pop, off she came, thanks Rich.

Gee I'm surprised that worked Steve. Mine had a hidden screw in the bottom edge of it. Without the lower dash off as per Rich, you can't see it. In my case it turned out to be redundant anyway, the little screw hole had broken off lol.
