Doesn't your paint crack on the "rubbermaid" airdams?

I don't know what brand it is... I got it from Brett DePedro at Rotary Performance up here... He's been racing 7's for years... As far as Paint is concerned, that's easy, hehe.... I just don't paint it!!! With Track days, autocross, and the occasional parking lot curb, my airdam takes a considerable amount of abuse.... Painting it would be useless...

FD Racer: Get this-- not lowered. The Enkeis make it look really low but really it is just the increase in overall bigger rims and tires compared to teh other 14's. I have wanted to lower my car, but in this country i wouldn't last teh 40 minute trip into town...
theweasel: LOL!! Yeah i keep a car cover over it and everything... it looks pimp and i show it off a lot to teh ladiez that ever make it over here to butt **** egypt.

paint shops put a flexing agent into paint being sprayed onto urethane or rubber bumper covers like what we have on our 1st gens. it does help reduce paint cracking.

i've bumped various things with my bumpers and they still look good. my front bumper was brand new when sprayed with fresh paint and flex in 1994 has taken several bumps with no cracks. this includes a few 10mph taps.
