Any options for GSL-SE rear brake brackets?

I have a GSL-SE rear end and I have the calipers, unfortunately do not have a set of the brackets. Is there a source for brackets? Is it possible that I could be blessed and the bracket is the same as the GSL?

I'm 95% sure you'll need to source used brackets as they're not available new anymore. They are not the same as those on the GSL.

Yeah, unfortunately they are unique to the SE. I've never heard of anyone finding a match from another car...

What about base model FC? Same caliper. Could it be the same bracket?

Only the front caliper is the same between the SE and base model FC. The rear caliper is quite a bit different unfortunately.... That said, I'm actually running base model FC rear calipers on one of mine using a modified re-speed adapter bracket. It's a solid rotor, so not as good as the SE parts, but easier to find (assuming you have, or can make, the re-speed style bracket)

You can make a bracket kind of like those shown in the pictures. I think these were both for 2nd gen brakes to a GSL axle housing, but the concept is about the same. If you decide that you can use the design for 2nd gen to GSL housing I can send you the drawing.

Carl,
Could you send me the drawing that you have? I have a set of RE-Speed adapters, the entire kit actually, for the TII brake swap. I'm going to be taking measurements to modify them somewhat here in the next few months I believe.

Thanks,
Austin
