So this box and two wires hang out from behind the center console on the passenger side of my '82. Just wondering if this was usual, and what exactly they might do.. On the cover of the box it has about three accesses for adjusting and says something about adjusting centering on one of them. Sorry for the rough pictures, these were quick shots from my phone and I didn't get one of the pins on the plugs.

looks sort of like the stock amp. that white wire i'm sure is for the amp that came stock in the car, but i thought it was hidden under the driver storage bin in the back... i could be wrong because i never had the stock stereo in my gsl...
