Any colour you like....
Well, my Rex has been primer gray for almost a year now. Still can't decide on a dang color. I was originally thinking of painting it white since the whole idea of this restoration is to replace the Rex I had back in highschool ('97 grad)
Problem is, this AIN'T the car I had back then. That's okay since this is a GSL and the other was just a GS. And, the interior is now black instead of the previous brown (don't miss that either really)
Seems there are quite a few who have white sevens these days. I like to be different, but not "wild" different if you know what I mean.
If you have anything other than Red or White, please post a pic.
Right now, I'm thinking along the lines of British Racing Green, Black, or Silver.
Would LOVE to see someone's dark green Rex!!!

Cool color. Will definitely be an upgrade for you I think. Not quite the color I was thinking though. A little "June Bugish" for me-no offense. Adds character to it for sure.

Actually, after searching around on the net, I see the "required" combination for dark green exteriors is a TAN interior. Mine being black, this may not be the best color for my car anyway. Probably the same goes for black...eh?

No, no, no! You HAVE to make these cars BLACK. My favorite colour is black on these cars. My car is all black exterior, with a mostly black interior. It looks great too IMO. Check it out on my cardomain site.

I personally really like the metallic black of the GSL-SE's (black with gold fleck). From a pic it'll look like 85RotaryPower's but in RL it has a cool twist with the metallic. My car is this colour but the paint sucks. To me nothing looks better than a black car with perfect paint.

Absolute Power is Awesome
Spend more than 10 minutes in a black Rx-7 in the summer and you'll understand what a baking pizza feels like.

Yellow, also. You'll be more visible to other traffic day and night and will certainly look like an updated, modern-looking car. This is the 2004 Mazda 6 color of Chrome Yellow Clearcoat (BZ-21T) from the Mazda factory catalog:

A really dark metallic blue, like the bottom of some CD-R's (TDK Brand) would be awesome... Dark like the forum background (And if you say the forum is white, not blue, scroll down all the way to the the bottom.. On the left, it probably says Ovoid or Oblong, or something... Set it to Plasma.)
