ok first thanks for all the help so far. ok im getting a Racing Beat intake and Edelbrock card later on next week. Along with a header and Exhaust hopefully. My main concern is running linkages to the carb, and would that kinda carb require a higher fuel pressure than the Nikki. ANd what would be a good aftermarket pump to use.

Most guys use either a Holley red or blue OR a carter pump. Carter is lower profile so mounting is easier. I personally have a holley red and like it, other than the mounting difficulties. But, that could be because I am an idiot lol.

I run a Carter. Fits well, but it is loud.
