another one bites the dust!

well, I think I'm going to part out my rusty '83... the body is just too far gone to be worth saving.. as much as I'd love to save it, I think I should just find another shell.
I'll probably fix up that '78 I've got too, or maybe sell it whole.. who knows.

it's funny since I paid more for the '83 because I thought it was in MUCh better condition than the '78.. then I dug a little deeper and found that the SA is actually not that bad and the '83 is...

the '83 has a whole PILE of new parts on it, it seems like a shame.. runs like new too!

the rear fenderwells have rusted out, totally.. by the time I finished cutting there wasn't anything left infront of the support!
and the floors have holes, and the front fenderwells have holes... etc.

the car could definatly be fixed still but what's the point, I will spend 20 hours fixing it (and at least $100 in stuff) only to have a car worth $1500 that I could part out for $1500 without spending the 20 hours fixing it! lol.

Like you say use it to fix the 78, The 78 is a very odd car, I wish I was closer so I could buy it from you.

but at the same time you will spend more time parting out the '83 and may not get close to $1500 for parts. Just find another good S2 and swap the new parts to it or just put them on the '78.

Just curious, how is the dash pad on the '83?

the dash on the '83 is mint lol

see, allready the vultures are circling, saying "part the car" lol.

I don't know if I'm going to fix the '78, but I'm definatly not going to part it... I'll either fix it or sell it asis to someone who will.
