The homemade airlplane video sits pretty funny on me, as a guy who once refilled the cannon sump on an A10 Thunderbolt, but forgot to feed the chain of bullets that kept whacking me in the face during install. "I thought you reloaded this thing?." The pilot thought he would be at some disadvantage carrying two 250 pound air fuel bombs and no bullets.

I also pulled a 12A for buddy's car that had the "oil leak of death", only to find out it was leaking out of a cross-threaded oil pressure sending unit.

after throwin my new motor in my fb, me and my buddy drove out to the lake the one day, only to have to come running all the way back into town (at about 150km/hr) cuz we forgot something. So we're on the outskirts of town, and I slow down over the tracks, and the car is studdering real bad. barely made it to my house, popped the hood to see that we had forgotten the hold down clamp for the battery, and it fell out, went thru the fan, tearing every blade off the effin thing. one of the blades then must've gone thru 2 plug wires cuz they were sheared clean off. ya that was an awesome day...

Half the time, reason stuff doesn't work is that it's not turned on.

i have the dumbest one of all. when i had my first fb, i noticed one of the drivers side front lug bolts was sticking out farther than the others. it was loose, so i finger tightned it and was going to torque it later. i came back to torque it and had the wrong socket and my aunt pulled up and i talked to her and forgot all about the lug being loose. 2 days later the frontend of my car is shaking like crazy and i didnt know why. well, needless to say i lost my wheel. oh to be 16 again lol

Last year my alt blew (not the funny part), and it took out a bunch of stuff.

My signal lights were affected, not a single one of them working!

So I bought a new Signal Light Relay. I didn't feel like putting it in (it's a royal forkin' pain in the ***!) so I took the relay and my new gauge cluster to my trusted mechanic. (Yes, even I go to a mechanic sometimes... usually when I'm too lazy to do a pain-in-the-*** job like a gauge cluster and signal light relay!)

Well he forgot the signal light relay. It was so small that it slipped under something on the passenger seat and he didn't notice it. When I remarked that the signal lights were still not working he said "Didja check the bulbs?"

Bulbs? ... Well, no but... I mean would all 4 blow simultaneously? Does this happen?

Yes folks, apparently it does. My signal light relay was fine. My blowing alternator left the relay intact, but took out all four signal light bulbs. The brake bulbs, headlights, dome light etc... were all fine, but all 4 signal light bulbs were blown.

So here I am, looking like an idiot because someone got me with "didja check the bulbs?" when I was going to go through the hassle (or pay someone to go through the hassle) of changing the relay.

So... check your bulbs! (and your fuses, lol)

Jon
just curious, did your blinker bulbs work on the dash? or did nothing happen at all?
