Alternator wiring - what terminal is ignition +12 V?

I'm installing a RX7 first gen internal regulated alternator in my RX3. On the RX7 alternator there are 2 prongs for electrical connections other than the +12V hot terminal. The prongs are in a T pattern. I understand one is for an ingition +12 V and the other is for a dash idiot light and a carb heater.

I can't find info an which is which? Anybody help?

The terminal at the top of the T should go to a switched 12v + source. Bottom of the T goes to the dash warning light.
