Are all of the flush headlights companies gone?

I cant seem to find any websites that sell the kits anymore. Im looking through old links and have found that the websites are dead. Any suggestions on how I can get my hands on some? Also I tried Ebay and nothing.

Most people have resorted to using kits for a Miata and modding them to work.
There is a company in Tennesse that makes Miata kits but they run like $500 and up. Good Luck

No, he's not. CP racing style Flush kits were available for Miatas. Don't know if there still are some around.

Yeah, we've established that CP Racing had flush light kits, and they're now out of business. That's well known around here.

But then lwnslw said "Most people have resorted to using kits for a Miata and modding them to work." Are you certain he's referring to the flush light kits? Let's let him answer, rather than answering for him without being sure, k?

Alright.... Here is the info....

www.advancedautomotiveconcepts.com
or
http://www.advancedautomotiveconcept...ages/here1.jpg

They are available with/witout the clear covers and the buckets are CF.

They were listed in the April 2007 issue of Sport Compact Car magazine. There flush light kits look alot like 3rd gen flush mounts.
Hope this helps everyone.

Some Miata owners don't care for them:

"I have some that are made by midd-tenn. They are very, very, very bad! I will be remaking them as soon as I have some time."

The poor quality part of the MTM, was the lights themselves.....as is the case with many aftermarket light kits.
The lids have held up quite well and had the correct compound curve to them. The lights were crap driving lights,I used them on my rockcrawler for undercarriage lighting and bought some Hella 90MM pods for DOT output and pattern.

They still arent 100%,but they are light, simple and good enough for now.....

That wasn't the issue. I know they've been out of business. But there was another company still making them for Miatas.. Hence why I used the words "CP Racing STYLE light"

You obviously didn't know the kit wwas available for Miatas from anybody since you thought they he was referring to something else.

And if lwnslw had meant sleepy-eyed, I pretty sure he would not have said so, considering that's what this thread made reference to flush lights and nobody said sleepy-eyed until you did.

So maybe I could answer for him if you ask a question you don't know the answer to and I do. and not only save him the trouble but get you an answer more quickly.

I asked him a question, you jumped in and answered for him without being certain what we were talking about. There aer also sleepy eyed kits for Miatas often mentioned in this forum and usually during these sorts of threads.

Quit demonstrating how new you are.

I have been working for about 6 months on a kit based on the Advanced Miata kit. I even went as far as to buy a kit to hack up!

I hate to say it but its going nowhere fast. Although the fronts of the cars look very much alike, whats under the skin is VERY different.

I hope to have at least my kit done by rotorfest. But probably not!
