Air intake tube

I've been building my 85 GSL-SE for a while now and I'm back at it. there is one problem I'm having that bugs me to death.... the Air intake tube on the GSL-SE is the ugliest thing ever.... I haven't seen any aftermarket ones for it or I have over looked them. Has anyone replaced this with a better looking tube or something? if you have I would really like to see a pic of it or

I built an air filter adapter for mine and insulated the intake tube with some header wrap. I had planned building a whole new tube but never did. You can actually by a intake tube head shield.
