hey i have a set of Eibach springs on my car and it lowered the car like 1.5" which isnt enough for me.. i dont know what i should do here.. if they make springs that will lower it more that 1.5" or just get a set of airbags.. im not sure what to do. i love the handleing on it rite now it takes turns VERY GOOD. I just dont want to loose my good handling. i have the money for airbags well someone told me that they were like 1000 so i got that. if u could help me please drop me a line..

Your question is a really hard one to answer.
You want to keep the handling, but also want to lower the car more than the Eibachs already do. So you have to ask yourself why you want to go lower?

REASON:
It would not be beneficial for handling if you lowered it anymore. Lowering the car changes the suspension geometry (funky contact patch), and it can cause the rear to bind (read: massive oversteer). Also, you'll scrape on every incline or bump. You could lower your car by just getting smaller (13") wheels.

Well this is just what I think I know, so if I'm wrong, somebody correct me. Otherwise, I think you'd be better off as-is.

Happy modding.

I have to agree with 1984Special.
If you want to lower the car and keep the handeling than ditch the air bag idea.
If you want to make it low and keep the handeling than you can go Coil over suspension, and switch to a Panhard bar rear suspension.

You could do this roughley with about $1000- $1500.

The up side to this is that, the car will handel better than you ever thought possible.

The down side is that the ride will be much stiffer than with the Eibach springs. The ride will be very harsh, and probobly not suitable for daily driving.

My advice, stick with the Eibachs, and leave it as is.
After you get used to the ride height, you will actually be very happy you didnt lower it more.
The car is pretty low as it is, and feels even lower.

airbags are possibly the stupidest thing ever invented. They are so expensive, and for the same price you could have a kick-*** handling car. I'm sorry, but i can't imagine putting looks before function. my 2 1/2 cents

Air bags, are in no way designed to be a performance upgrade.
They are designed to do one thing, make the car go up and down.......

The only way you might get any performance advantage out of air bags, is if you decide to take your car rock crawling, and need the extra ground clerance.
