Air Adjust Screw

Hi, can somebody please help me? My Haynes manual for the 1984 RX-7 shows a photo and a diagram for the IDLE MIXTURE SCREW and the AIR ADJUST SCREW for the Carb. I can only see the IDLE MIXTURE SCREW. The AIR ADJUST SCREW in the diagram is right above it.

I can't locate it! All I see is the IDLE MIXTURE SCREW

Where the hell is the AIR ADJUST SCrew for the Carb?????

Way past due... There is no air adjust screw on later carbs. However, you can tune the idle screw, the location of which is illustrated here.

Take a look in the back of the manual. There should be an updated section for the newer models. Read that entire section so that you know what's different. If you try to do an oil change using the information in the front sections (specifying amount of oil to add) you will overfill the system and smoke like a bandit. Check it out and you should find the answer, but for now I'll tell you this; you have an idle mixture screw (which is probably what you're seeing) and the idle speed adjustment screw (which is hidden down low right near the throttle cable). Good luck.
