Congrats!

Actually I may be in the same position fairly soon I hope... My applications for grad school (Master's in Economics) will be coming in throughout the next few months, and I'm thinking of ordering up some Toyo T1-S's after my tax refund comes in. I can imagine how good you feel, if all goes well I should be feeling it in a month or two! Enjoy man, go out tonight!

Hey, I got one of those 9 years ago (my gawd, has it been 9 years already???) Here's hoping you make it farther that I did I ended up switching to IT and then taking a full time job there. I didn't realize you could specify an "Automotive discipline" now. Join the Formula SAE Team when you get there; it's a great time. Good luck and nice tires

Congrats! As lotsa cars said, definitely join the FSAE team. I'm not actually on one yet, but i've visited MIT's garage, and it looks like a blast (I'm a senior as well, and I'll either be on the Georgia Tech or MIT team; who knows, maybe we'll compete against each other someday )

Sweet tires, nice school. That's not far from where I am. All of us guys in NY have to meet sometime in the summer. I believe you are the closest to me lotsacars.

We're not that far from each other at all; about 45 miles. I'm actually in Victor - I put Rochester in my info because it's more recognizable and gives more people a point of reference.

We'll definately have to get together this summer at some point. Do any of you Rochester area guys AutoX? The first and last events for the Finger Lakes Region are always held at RIT and they just repaved the lot they do it in last year. Jutny, are you bringing your 7? If so you'll be in town for the last two events. It's a blast!

well, the rims came today... and i had the tires mounted and balanced.

which brings me to the next hurdle... installing the lug studs, cause you cant use these wheels with the lug bolts that are stock on the SA's as far as i know.

JD Wheels included Lug Nuts, and the studs with the wheels, but how do i go about installing them?

HEY! I go to Eastview Mall all the time. We'll meet there once my car is ready and the weather changes. I'd like to go to an AutoX event if you'll let me follow you up there. I've been to Rochester many times but I'm not familiar with the area, just passing through kind of stuff.

Well then you're a couple miles from me all the time We can caravan to the city for AutoXing. I know my way around well, and know where all the AutoX sites are no problem.

Jutny - you bringing your 7 with you when you come to Rochester?

oh HELL yes the 7 is coming... cause RIT lets freshman have cars

i'll have to convert her to FI before though, cause a carb in the cold up there just may not cut it anymore... its pushing it down where i am, but i'm not sure it can deal with the nice "Warm" weather that i'll be in up there.

also, they have autoX's all the time for the FSAE team, and the team guys generally run their cars too.... sounds like a good time to me.
