Ahh Crap, somethings wrong.

Lets start it off like this.

Tuesday - Walk out of my door, get in my car and try to start it. It spins, but doesn't start. I'm instantly angry, it sounded a little lethargic so I jumped it off my brothers car, still, nothing. Went and got a new battery (the other one was shot anyway), put it in, turns over but doesn't start. Pull out my "Engine" fuse to cut off the fuel, figured it was flooded. Put my the throttle to the floor and it spins for a second, starts, blows out the normal oil smoke that I get on every start. Put the fuse back in, go drive. It has full power, it's not bogging down or anything. Drive for 30 mins, park it.

Wednesday - Out the door to go to class, Doesn't start, does the same thing. Try to deflood it, nothing.

So, to sum it up, it's spinning but not starting. I'm going to check for spark and compression tommorow so I can have some light. But, is there anything else I need to check?

when ya drove it did you dirve it untill it heated up ? Because if you dont, that can flood it as well.

when you say it does the same thing, if you mean buy the same thing, not turning over like it should. Then i would assume that you have a ground problem.

Let us know how the spark and the compression goes.

Yeah, I drove for a good 30+ minutes, let it totally warm up then put it through it's paces on some curvey roads.

By same thing, I mean it is spinning but not catching and starting/firing or however you want to word it.

I went through and checked my grounds, they are good.

Umm...Okay.

Went out this morning, got in it and it started right up.
No clue what that was all about.

I did reseat all my spark plug wires and all that good stuff before hand, so maybe it was somewhere in there.

Also noticed my air-flapper-thingamajig inside of my airbox was kind of stuck

"air-flapper-thingamajig"- poor thing didn't last long on my 7. got rid of it because it was making some noise from the vibration. i've never had a problem without it.

Since I just happen to remember that your car is a GSL-SE...
That is part of the air flow meter. It tells the ECU when the engine is drawing air, and how much. Better look into why it was stuck, and free it up to prevent this from occuring again.
