Aftermarket Steering Wheel

Greetings,
Looking to upgrade my steering wheel on my SE and wanted to get some input from those of you who have made the swap. I found some on Andysautosport.com and would like to get your opinion on a few things:
1. Are the cheaper ones (50.00 range) any good?
2. Did anyone go with a smaller diameter wheel? If so, how do you like it?
3. What material did you go with?

Thanks!!!

here are a couple of tips;

the momo hub for an early miata is the same as the 1st gen Rx7. the FC uses a different offset. most wheels will use the momo pattern, the exceptions being Nardi, and Grant.

the stock steering wheel is 380mm in diameter. the smaller you go the "quicker" the steering will feel, but you also loose leverage, so effort goes up. also the smaller the wheel, the less room you have to see the gauges.

there is a kaleidoscope of steering wheels out there, so feel free to try different ones. i personally like a 350-360mm wheel, with a little offset toward the driver.
