Aftermarket starter wiring

So when I bought the car it came with an aftermarket starter and it was wired pretty shotty. I was rewiring it and I noticed a wire that was cut and I was checking the wiring diagram for the car, which is a 1979 rx7 running on the points system still and with an 81-82 engine. My question is that there is a Yellow W/Black wire that is supposed to go to the R terminal on the factory starter, I Have Start, Batt, and the ground wire. I have the White W/ Red hooked up for the power, Black W/ Yellow to the S On the starter, Black W/ White hooked up for Ignition and my Blue Acc wire. There is another wire with the Black W/Yellow that is Yellow W/ Black and it goes nowhere it was snipped with a nut on the end like it should be on the starter somewhere. The wiring Diagram says that the wire is question goes from the R on the starter to the condesors which go to ground as I can figure and then to the Ignition relay and then to the + terminals on both coils. this wire when tested with a test light when the ignition is running, "I wish I had a volt meter right now, soon, very soon" it is kinda dim, like not full 12volts, I was told that this was supposed to be 6 volts to the coil, I may be running 12 which may cause them to run hot, I have not tested this yet. Im just not sure if it is suppsed to be hooked up somewhere. As always thanks for any help. I have search high and low and can't find an posts on the issue, Maybe I need to find an actual factory starter but that would be no fun I like my starter where I mounted it.
