aftermarket flywheel questions

I've been doing some researching online, and from what i ahve found, as long as you have the correct counterweight, you can use any bolt-on flywheel. So if i have the correct counterweight to install (automatic counterweight for an 85 rx7), then i could get the fidanza or act aluminum flywheel (these are listed as being for 86 and up, but from what i have found there is no difference), and it will bolt on. Am i correct? The racing beat setup is a little steep at $455, so i was looking for a more cost efficient setup.

i believe that as long as u use the correct counterweight for the year model engine ur using, it should work just fine.

Yea most stuff will work BUT make sure you don't get one for a turbo as they are a different diameter and won't work for you.

dude,
don't get either flywheel you mentioned. these both suck hardcore reletive to the ones below.

Go with either one from SR motorsports OR Racing beat.

the Racing beat lists for $455 with the proper counterweight, and you can get a complete kit from SRmotorsports.com for like $700 with the c-weight, flywheel, weight, bearings etc etc...
