Aftermarket filter for power pulse intake
I have the power pulse intake on my 83 and the foam filter was pretty well shot. So, I went to Auto Zone to see if they had one the same size. Come to find out, they did and after figuring out what car it went with, I figured I would post it here for everyone else to know.
The filter part number is:
FRAM: CA3746
STP: SA3746
If you happen to look it up (for ordering K&N) just order one for a 91 Buick Century with the 2.5L engine. Fits other ones too, but this is easy enough to remember I thought. Same filter is in other late 80's/early 90's Buicks with 2.5L also.
On a side note, I bought the fram. Mainly, because I dont have 38 bucks to spend on an air filter and even a "cheap paper" one is better than a foam one that is falling apart.
Hope this helps some of you out.

Good to know about the K&N filter size. BTW you can buy replacement foam filters for Racing Beat, the makers of you Power Pulse air cleaner housing for around $15.00
Paper filter are very restricting, a K&N or the foam filter from RB allows the most air flow when clean.
I run a paper unit in my car when I am cleaning my K&N unit.
