aftermarket , custom gauge clusters
i was wondering if anyuone ever made a after market clust for 81-83 i saw a few post but no diffient answer if so were is the site the price im looking for is 60 and down

lol....you are the cruel one, DF, tossing that back at me...those were price ranges we are hoping for....Manntis will tell us what we have to pony up if we ever hit 20 committed buyers...I'm assuming Trolloc has already seen that thread and decided it wasn't any help...

If he means an actual aftermarket drop in cluster that simply plugs into the factory harness, I simply don't see that ever happening in our lifetime...but I'm half-way through mine and I never thought the aftermarket would blow up like it has for 1968 Firebirds, so I could be made a liar here...

I think some people on here put 2nd Gen (86-91) Gauge clusters in their
79-83 cars. I think it was Gonzz and Kuhlrx7 if I remember correctly.
My thinking is:
If you can put a 2nd gen instrument cluster in your car, and it's not too
much work, - then why not go that route?
It will modernize the car significantly, and you can put the reverse indiglow
gauges from the 2nd gen on there as well if you want the blue look.
