A/F meter is always good for tuning the engine.

ok, if you're referring to the meter that hooks up to an O2 sensor, then yes... otherwise... ???

I would think that installing an o2 sensor on a carbed engine and hooking it up to an a/f meter would be extremely helpful. It would take a lot of guess work out of carb tuning, plus, A/F meters are fun to look at

He's talking about an air/fuel ratio meter not an air-flow meter.

Having an a/f meter is definately useful. Obviously it won't help in fine tuning the carb but it let's you know if you're in the ballpark at least.

Almost spit my water on my keyboard when I read that! lol

Any tool that helps you read what your engine is doing is a good thing.
