From what I've heard the gslse fuel system was barely capable of producing enough fuel for the car itself. So a dry system may not be the way to go without swapping in a fpr and walbro. I used to run a 50 shot on the 12a and it took it quite nicely. i sprayed into the top of the carb and it actually woke the car up a lot. All I can say is make sure you are able to produce enough fuel!

FYI. The stock GSL-Se fuel pump has more output than any stock RX-7 FI fuel system including the FD's. I don't know where you get your info but you might want to do more homework.

Chava,
If you are experiencing this problem it may be 6 port actuator related also. There are other factors that may be causing your upper RPM bog..

ok, yea i thought it might have to do with something else like the fuel pressure damper because its craked or something like that, because i got all the intake manifold striped of the 6 port actuators and plugged everything up but what had me worried was the fact that ther is not alot of people with knoledge about rotaries so when i asked people about spray i got mixed answers that it would take it very well and others that i should not do it cause they dont take it very good..
but thanks for the info doc.

I found this in the chronicles of a turbo 2 swap thread. I am guessing this is what I read. Take it for what it's worth.

Oh yea, forgot to mention the fuel pump. Spent alot of time researching the fuel pump issue. Basically here's the scoop--somebody pipe in if you think I am wrong.

I have seem some threads on the 1st gen forum suggest that the GSL-SE fuel pump will be sufficient for use with a TII engine. And to that I have to say--I dont' think so. The pump is lacking in both pressure and flow. A quick look at the specs will show that:

TII pump = 71-92 psi and 132-198 lph
GSL-SE pump = 50-71 psi and 102 lph (min)

I know gslse's had some highpowered injectors, but I always thought the pumps were no good. Anyone else wanna chime in? I'm curious now. I HATE giving out wrong info. I've been looking for some good info, and found a few things against using the gslse pump but nothing concrete.
