Advice on purchasing an 83 gs

Hey,

I need some help determining if this car is a good deal. It is an 83 with 77k on it. I think the car is a GSL it says "Limited" or "Special Edition" on it. It has the factory silver BBS style wheels on it w/ a/c and cruise. The car had little power when driven but has been sitting for about 8 months. It needs a front strut and ball joint, some exhaust and rear brake work also. The paint is original and is in excellent condition with the exception of the right front fender which was lightly hit needs to be replaced. The clutch is fair to good. The good part is there is no rust except for under the floor of the battery tray, just surface rust though. The interior is better than good with the exception of the drivers seat which has worn thru. The car is completely unmolested, (no holes, stickers, high wing spoilers ect.) Guy is sitting hard on $1500.00 for it.. I have always loved these cars and wanted one for years but want a "second opinion".

thanks

Bob
