Advice needed for 13B-REW swap fuel tank
I'm looking at purchasing a fuel tank from an Australian company called Hak Fabrications. I can't really find any information on them. I think this looks like a high quality product though. The PAC performance one seems more like something I could fabricate after buying a universal fuel cell and doing a little cutting a welding. I haven't ruled the fabricating route out yet, but it seems like a lot of work for half the price at best. Anyone else have any ideas for a solution? Are there any US companies that offer anything. After the exchange rate and shipping, it looks like it will be around $2k.

^^ That would be the most cost effective way to go. Here's another option I found.
Mighty Car Mods used the PAC Performance tank. It requires removing the spare wheel cavity. Easy enough since it's spot welded but then you need to cover the hole.

I believe a few of the big brands make a kit like that (to put EFI into an old carb tank) and that is the route I would go if I were doing this now in 2025.
I am running the FC fuel slosh cup/mounting ring and pump hanger assembly in my swapped cars. It works great and was the go-to solution 15 years ago - but the supply of FC tanks (affordable ones anyway) dried up, plus you have to really be careful welding on a gas tank, it's not for everyone. The kit shown above looks much better - a hole saw and some bolts and off you go.
I really wanted to buy the PAC tank 5 or 6 years ago, mainly to get more capacity and just to have an all new tank, but the price of shipping from AUS to the US was insane, even back then...
