advice on 45 dcoe install

What kinda advice can i get for a easy install? I got new gaskets and all. What pump should i use, regulator, etc? I havent drove my SE in a year. I miss the feeling my 85 gs just aint the same. Ive removed all the b.s. fuel inj. and manny's but as far as cable linkage and choke setup????? whos got pointers really?

By removing the F/I and all those crap, did you keep one wire grounded? If not, you will need to re-wire your fuel pump to make it work. If you retained the stock pump, you can still use it but you have to use a regulator with a return. Now for carb use, SE's throttle cable is too short.

If you a havent driven or started that engine for a year, be sure not to start it without pouring a cap full of oil on each rotor housing (thru the spark plug hole or intake port) and handcranking a few times.

You will also need a Fuel Pressure Gauge, the FPR I listed above wont have an attachment to bolt it on to, so I will be going with a In-Line gauge, or hopefully a gauge in an A pillar pod.
