Adjusting speedometer?

When doing around 80 kmph my speedometer will only read about 40 kmph, is there a way i can adjust/fix this?

Mine does the same damn thing depending on what gear i'm in, sometimes mine is off by as much as 30kmph, when i'm doing around 110kmph...

Disconnect the cable fom the tranny, pull the cable from the sheath, clean and lube it. If that doesn't fix it, then check the drive gears and/or replace the speedo.
