ACV..... AF ratio?? please.
ACV..... AF ratio?? please.
now i know (or think i know) that the ACV distributes to 3 places. the intake, the thermal reactor, and the cat. is that right? or pretty close?
the cat was recently removed and the factor came about whether to let the 'ACV exit to the cat' filter to the atmosphere... or to plug it up. IF the 'ACV exit to the cat' were to be plugged... and the air pump would be pumping the same amount of air to the ACV, would MORE air be sent to the intake to possibly lean out the motor a little more?
if that was a little unclear please say so and i will provide more info. thanks people

the acv consists of 3 parts, the air pump air control part and the anti afterburn valve (#1)
the air control valve sends air to one of 3 places
1. from idle to 3000rpms, air is injected into the exhaust ports
2. 3000+rpms air is vented into the air cleaner
3. at some other times it can be injected into the cat, it looks like when the choke it on
the anti afterburn valve takes air pump air and puts it into the front rotor under deceleration
