Acceptable Rim Question

Does anyone know if 17x7 inch rims with a 40 mm offset will fit a GSL-SE with stock suspension (suspension has settled a bit over the years)? I've searched through this forum looking for an answer but I'm still not certain if these will work.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

17'' is quite large, you would have to run a rubberband kind of tire, but even then it would probably rub.

It will work but...rubber band tires are pointless, make the ride harsher, and expensive. You might also dent or crack your rims if you hit a pothole. Have fun!

It could work, there are a few people running 17s around here, but there are no benefits to them over 15s
