accelerator pump diaphragm shot

just noticed gas dripping out from the accelerator pump diaphram so im guessing it is shot.. where can i get one local or is there an easy replacement for this?

Buy a Nikki rebuild kit. It's not worth it to buy just the diaphragm. Do a search for where to find good rebuild kits.

only problem with that, and correct me if im wrong but i removed all the screws from the top of the carb and couldnt get the thing apart.. im guessing i removed about 8 screws but i dunno if there is anything else holding the top onto it so if i cant get it apart then i dunno how id be able to put in a rebuild kit.

why are you removing the top of the carb? you dont need to. pull the carb off and you can remove the acc pump rod and cover with the carb off.
