Question ac question

hey i ordered a compressor condensor and drier for my 85 the drier has no provision for a high pressure switch can i still use it if so what do i do to make it work thanks

if your car wasn't already set up for ac, you'll have to get the rest of the components from a car with ac. you'll need the push button heater controls and the lines with new o-rings as well as the minor interior hoses.

the car came with a/c i am replacing the compressor and drier the old drier has a pressure switch in it the new one does not have one

You have two options. Either exchange the drier for the correct style, with a fitting for the switch. Or, you can use the one you have, but will have to use a jumper wire in the plug for the switch.

I believe that is a LOW pressure switch, I would swap it for the correct one if I were you. I'm no expert but if you go without it I believe you risk ruining your new compressor if you lost your refrigerent and or lubricant.
