AAAGH. Screw up.

I slid out yesterday in my 85 GS and hit a curb sideways, which broke the front drivers side shock and bent the control arm to unusable condition. Also the fender got pretty screwed too. How hard is it to replace the control arm?

Hardest part is getting the bolt out that goes through the cross member. It often rusts to the steel sleeve inside the bushing and has to be cut out or hammered out with an air hammer after a good soaking with PB Blaster. Out of caution, I'd pick up a new strut assembly too, just in case your's is bent, along with a new wheel.
