Yea someone else posted the auction a few days back. He is rediculous and will soon realise he is asking an astronomical price. When I use to do old car resto's before going to work for Lexus we would sometimes get an old car with almost no miles on it-- in for engine work. People do not realize the severity of not driving a car. It does more harm than good for a variety of reasons. But nice car none the less, I suppose.

I would NEVER buy an older car with so few miles on it for any more money than a good higher mileage car. Besides the body and interior being in great shape, the whole drivetrain will need to be worked on. Gaskets break down and leaks start and things like to stiffen up. If left long enough, ***** or needles in wheel bearings can embed into the races and cause major problems.

Pics are loaded on another thread. It's hard to buy stuff like this on E-Bay though, you never really know how accurate what they are telling you is.

"Special Fluids"?? Get some more info on this thing, Do a compression test and drive it. The clutch and brake master cyclinders do not like to sit.....no matter how "special" the fluids.

Good luck.

OK, Just to let you all know. I worked on this car, and I can tell you that it's not leaking whatsoever, started right up (great compression), after I put a new battery in it. Clutch pedal and brakes feel awesome, like brand new. The thing doesnt have a scratch or anything on it. All the trim is mint. The interior is mint. Under the hood is mint. Everything is all original except for the battery. Not sure about the tires. I personally think that it's worth 30k OR MORE. If I were him I wouldnt even sell it, I think he's crazy. I didnt realize it was even for sale until I made the other post about the car and someone mentioned it was on Ebay. All I have to say is that, if you saw this thing in person, and if you had the money, you wouldnt hesitate to drop 30k for it. If I was mega rich and had the money, I would - and then I'd store it away in a heated warehouse just as it's been. Words cannot describe this car, looks like it just rolled out of the factory.

My car ws off the road for 5 years, and the amount of restoration work it took to get it roadwothy again was astronomical.

A car with that few miles would need at least 4g worth of work to be drivable again.
