Prosthetic head.
I've seen "the purple one" i think... it's not bad (don't know if it's the same one y'all are talking about). I don't understand why everyone wants their RX-7 to look like a PORSCHE. The rx-7 body style looks good anyway.

I definatly agree with the leopard. The only kit i would put on my car would maybe be the mariah motor sports wide body kit the one with more defined front fender flares and that would only be to increase performance.

I just like the fender flares on the grey one posted here... the front bumper cover is nice but the mariah wb kit is nice.
I have been looking for the flared look but not the front end blowing up.

acutally Excellence magazine (official Porsche) pitted the 911 Carerra (Classic Porsche) against the 944 (built and raised from the 924-968 family representing the technology breed of Porsche) and they are the ultimate match... the 944 handles better... the 911 has more pickup

Got Boost?
If you wanted a poor-man's porsche, why don't you just go out and buy one..... they're pretty cheap, only slightly more than and FC.
I like RX-7s, they have their own unique style.... I don't understand the need to turn the car into a porsche. Nobody that is into porsches is ever going to be fooled, and the rest of the people that don't know jack about them won't tell the difference anyway.

Anyway, I've got a few pics of the grey one and LOVE it, have searched for more info all over and never found much. I would love something like that, just a few small changes.

heh, well if you want a cheaper, uglier porsche, I would go with a 914. Then again, lots of people are crazy about their 914's. I liked my 68 911S while it was still around though. And honestly, I don;t think the white car looks like a 944 at all. They could have done a much better job

I know where the car is at, I know the shop owner, and I know the body shop who has a very similar mold of that kit. Although they wont sell it. I don't personally know the owner of the car - but he is supposedly a *****. That's why his car hasn't been touched in 2 years.

They won't sell it? maybe he commisioned the molds and therefore they are bound by contract not to sell it... Well like I said its time to take on the project of building the kit myself. when they see other cars running around with the same style body they will have to wonder.
Btw does his car run or is that the condition it sits in currently? Just curious...

how much further out would you say that it is flared in the front? 1.5-2 inches? either side? Kinda hard to judge from the pics.
Does anyone know how much wider each fron fender is on the Mariah mode 1 kit?
Just wondering for comparisons sake...

What about the Pacific Avatar (or just Pacific, or Pacifica, or whatever...) widebody kit made in the '80s? I've been looking for this one (the same one on Adrenalife's Rex) or a car w/it already installed, but they're nowhere to be found. IMHO that was the best widebody kit ever made, Mariah comes a close second...
