'85 won't turn over

Looking for opinions on this. The car has been sitting for about six months, the last time I started it it started fine. The battery is dead of course, so i've got my other car hooked up for power and when I turn the key I get click and all the lights go off when I let off the key the lights go back on. So i have power when at ACC but no power when trying to turn it over. Is it the starter, or do I just not have enough power coming out of the other car to start it?

Clean the terminals, etc. as suggested.

Try charging the battery. I am willing to bet that it won't take a charge.

Get a known good battery and use it to try and start your car. A battery that has been sitting for six months is likely not strong enough to work even with a jump.

Yeah, dirty connection. Also, its very difficult to jump start a 7. Chances are you'll just end up flooding it. Either replace or charge the one thats in it, or swap the batteries between the two cars.
