when i initiate a slide, i get a hard THUD from my rear somewhere. it slides fine, but i dont think i should be getting that slam thud noise that im hearing. any ideas ? i deleted my watts link bc **** snap oversteer... running T3 panhard bar, t3 coilovers all around w/drop brackets and a ST rear sway bar
What size tires/wheels are you running in the rear? Im no expert, but maybe the wheels are smacking something as the suspension swings in its arc.
0 offset w/ 1" spacer adaptor. 15x8, they come out pretty far (hence the arches) and im 100% positive they arent hitting anything. i was getting this same thing (or close to it) in my '96 328is drift car and it was my diff bushings. but that's IRS and this is solid... so maybe bushing in the trailing arms? usually i'd use it as an excuse to upgrade but that's a lot of points to upgrade... all the trailing arms and that T3 panhard brace bar too
Hmm Im not too sure then. Id say tell us more about what youve done to the suspension and hopefully someone who knows more can help. Are you on OEM bushing, or are you using poly bushings or even heim joints?
