Any auto upholstry shop. The trick is going to be matching the burgundy.

Black Dragon sells some but they're bright(er) red and not stitched. Plus I dont think they make the rear hatch drop carpet

BlackDragonAuto is the only place I could think of. I need the same carpet pieces but haven't found a good replacement yet - will probably go with the auto upholstery route eventually.

I replaced mine myself. Its alot of work to make it look nice. But I bought some carpet from overtons.com. They're a boating store, so the carpet is made for being in the sun, and the rear carpet is kinda in the sun. Doesn't cost much either. I think I used the color "wine" But I don't remember. It matches mostly, At least it looks better than the nasty sun eaten carpet that was there. Sometime I'm gonna try to finish the edges somhow, but I just haven't yet.

EDIT: The cost of the carpet was pretty cheap.

I just replaced the entire carpet from Auto Carpet for Car, Truck, Van - Stock Interiors
Their carpets are molded from an original floor pan for your particular make and model. in the case of a first gen RX7, unlike the three piece factory carpet, it came in two pieces. Ordered separately, 0ne for the main passenger area (factory is two pieces) and one for the the rear deck. They do not sell the crappy piece that hangs down from the hatch opening and covers the jack and tail lights. For this I ordered an xtra yard of carpet and made panels that I covered rather than have the loose curtain effect.

To replace the main passenger area I found it best to remove the two center consoles, shifter and Ebrake handles. This piece came with about 3 inches of xtra material all the way around.

The rear section had a bound border and was a pretty close fit.

A week ago, I switched the burgundy carpet for black and painted all the tan black. Was a time consuming job to get all the cut outs perfect, but it looks awesome.

good luck

And you truly truly are an awesome person I'm glad you did buy them. My all original 40,000 mile rx-7 thanks you

That car was garage kept! Never in the sun and it was STILL DRY ROTTED! I'm glad you hooked me up or I'd be stuck trying to find something

I bought carpet from them as well, but have yet to install it. Any tips. Ive read from some people it was a real bitch to put it in. I couldnt imagine it being too bad for the average builder.

I have one brand new, in the bag. Alas, I need it for my car. I've had it so long I can't remember where I got it. It comes attached to the plastic molding.

If I had two I would gladly part with one. My car is going to get redone this summer and that rare part is destined to be installed. The old plastic is both faded and warped from too many years in the sun. Good luck on your search.
