85 RX7 bogging issue

If any one out there may be able to help me, please let me know. I just recently bought an 85 rx7 gs, with the 12a engine, and a 5 speed. The carb has been just rebuilt by a reputable shop. Before, and after the carb rebuild, the car ran fine and pulled strong when the choke was on, But as soon as the car was warm, The first time you would floor it, it went, the you would shift into any other gear, and the car would bog, until you pushed the clutch in, and waited for the revs to hit about 1500, then you could let the clutch out, and go again, with no bog. I have recheckecd all the vaccuum lines, and they are all hooked up correctly. There is adequate fuel pressure, and fuel delivery, and I just replaced the fuel filter, but I just can't figure out what is causing the bog. I also hooked up a vacuum guage, and when it works right, the vacuum drops to 0, and when it bogs, the vacuum stays at 3 inches. If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know.

I know you said that the carb was rebuilt but perhaps your accelerator pump is not quite up for the task. It sounds like it works for one good shot but not subsequent shots.

The accelerator pump is working correctly, but was out of adjustment. After I adjusted it, it still has the hesitation. Could it be maybe a partially clogged jet or any other reason. Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

check the fuel pressure.. on the feed side then on the return side i bet its low... check the little screens in the fuel inlets the 14mm heads . there is two, people dont usally check those and after the carb rebuild (its been carb dipped) the clog up p/s have you checked the float level? it could be set too low

I just checked the float level, and it is fine, and I put in 2 new filter screens in the fuel inlets, but still bogs. I might just replace the carb with another and see if it still bogs.
