Can i salvage back seats from a 85 rx7 and install them into my 82?
There are some weird bucket looking things were rear seats should be . are they removable, any problems i may face? I found them in a junk yard how much do you think they will sell em to me for?

 

Yes the seats will fit. Yes you remove the rear bins and metal coverings.

Now give us a break. How would we know what the salvage yard will sell them for? Call them!

I'd just pull them out at the JY, and take them up to the front desk and poor mouth. Tell them you found them in the back of a wreck, thought you'd try them in your car if they would fit, and maybe they're worth $15. It helps if they look bad, with straps hanging out in all directions, all twisted up, maybe a lot of dirt and dust all over (even if you have to grab some from the JY ground.

I've gotten good leather and cloth seats for FBs that way. Worked every time.

Interior parts like seats are usually at set prices...ask if there are any specials...some times u can get em' for less than the original price....

 

I am not sure but i do belive that they bring some metal supports that are under the seats.
