84 se couple questions

i just bought an 84 gsl-se and i noticed that there was a lot of play in the steering. i figured that it was just old tie rods so i changed out both inner and outers, but no change. Any ideas or is this just how the steering is? Also when i start the car it revs up to like 4000rpms and begins to slowly drop into a stall. Ive changed out all the plugs and wires, cap and rotor but again, no change. If anyone has any answers or sugestions i would appreciate it, thanks

run search

I just started using this site. I have found that if you just run a search on this forum on one topic at a time, you will find that someone has asked that same question before. You can get answers much quicker that way.

yeah, search this forum for both your questions. Good job newbie .

To give you a hint of the answers you'll find: No, you're steering isnt supposed to be that way, yes you can adjust it .

Yes the engine should rev high when first started for a few seconds (blipping the throttle should drop it back to idle), but it shouldnt stall.
